Abstract: This document provides a summary of my scientific activities from my thesis, completed at the University of Clermont Auvergne and defended in September 2017, to my position as an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Lorraine, which I have held since September 2019. It is structured into three parts. In the first part, I provide a synthesis of my research. In the second part, I offer an overview of my experience in supervising research activities (dissertations, theses, and internships), organizing general public scientific events, and my institutional responsibilities related to research. In the third part, I present my scientific project dealing with “de-financialization” and its macroeconomic consequences. Through this document, I highlight seven key characteristics around which my scientific approach is structured, namely:
1) research organized according to three interdependent fields related to banking and financial macroeconomics, climate
finance, and development economics, with a thematic focus on the study of financial systems and their economic and social consequences,
2) an empirical methodology mobilizing econometric and Machine Learning tools, combined with a historical perspective,
3) a holistic and pluralistic theoretical approach drawing from New Keynesian Economics, Post-Keynesian Economics, and the Regulation School,
4) a reflective perspective on my scientific activity due to a great interest in philosophy, particularly in epistemology,
5) a constant concern to link my research to contemporary societal issues,
6) a desire to question the purpose of financial activities,
7) an important focus on the transmission of knowledge, particularly through the training of young researchers.
