Organised by ITI MAKErS in association with GIS Euro-Lab, the interdisciplinary summer school “Research methods and data on Europe – Issues and uses” will take place in Strasbourg from 1 to 4 July 2025.
It offers doctoral students and young PhDs the opportunity to discuss their doctoral research with researchers and experts in order to share experiences.
It also offers them the opportunity to learn about different research methods, to reflect on the issues involved in accessing and processing certain data (archives, legislative acts, legal databases, statistical data, institutional documents, speeches, biographies, etc.) and to improve the processing and analysis of material on Europe.
It is aimed at specialists in Europe, but also more broadly at all those whose work may involve European data policies and/or data on Europe or European countries.
The working language will be French.
