Offre de stage – Analyse spatiale de la fragmentation des habitats et l’incidence des maladies aux États-Unis

Ce stage s’inscrit dans le projet “Habitat Fragmentation and Disease Incidence” (BROADSIDE), financé par INRAE. Le projet cherche à déterminer le lien entre la fragmentation des habitats et l’incidence des maladies, et à mesurer les arbitrages entre la fragmentation, via le changement dans l’utilisation des terrains, et la mitigation des maladies, dans un contexte de gestion des services écosystémiques.

Principales missions du stage :

construction d’une nouvelle base de données spatio-temporel ; calcul des taux de fragmentation des habitats ; développement d’un modèle statistique ; constitution des métadonnées ; écriture d’un rapport scientifique.

This internship is part ofthe project “Habitat Fragmentation and Disease Incidence” (BROADSIDE), jointly financed by INRAE.  The project seeks to formally establish a link between habitat fragmentation and disease incidence, and measure the tradeoffs between fragmentation via land use change and disease mitigation in the context of ecosystem service management.

Main tasks of the internship:

construction of a new spatio-temporal database; applying standard measures of fragmentation; development of a statistical model; creation of metadata; writing a scientific report.
