BETA members are delighted to welcome researcher Germà Bel to Nancy on December 16 and 17, 2024.
Germà Bel is Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Barcelona, where he heads the Governance and Markets (GiM) research group. His work focuses on public policy, infrastructure, transport and public service management. Internationally recognized, he is one of the most influential researchers in his field. According to Stanford University rankings, he is in the top 2% of the world’s most cited scientists in the disciplines of economics, logistics and transportation, as well as agricultural economics and policy.
During his visit to Nancy, he will present his paper “Does it take more than one village? The effect of inter-municipal cooperation on waste separation” co-authored with Joël Bühler (UB School of economics), in a seminar on Monday September 16, 2024, from 11am to 12:30pm.
