MOSAIC is a new EU funded project working to understand and influence how land across Europe is managed. A total of twenty organisations from across Europe are collaborating on the 4.5-year MOSAIC project.
Jens Abildtrup et Esther Devilliers, both INRAE researchers at BETA, will participate in this project. As a partner on MOSAIC, INRAE will contribute to the quantitative assessment of the motivations and drivers of land use change.
MOSAIC will work with six policy labs to develop innovative and effective policies for sustainable land use. The lessons from MOSAIC’s research, modelling and stakeholder engagement will be made available through a series of online tools.
