While price fluctuations in the agricultural sector are nothing new, global warming and unpredictable weather conditions are disrupting production and causing sharp rises in the price of coffee. At the same time, global coffee consumption continues to rise. While there are ways of adapting coffee production methods to climate change, we also need to question our consumption patterns.
