LEES platform
The Laboratory for Experimental Economics of Strasbourg (LEES) is a strategic research platform of the University of Strasbourg (labeled CoRTecS) which allows the study of decision-making and the individual and social behaviors of human beings.
The LEES makes it possible to reconstruct, in a controlled environment, real decision-making and interaction contexts in order to confront economic and social theory with experimental results, with the aim of adapting existing models and identifying new avenues for research. The laboratory thus plays a key role in the development, evaluation, and comparison of public policies.
In addition, the LEES also represents an innovative educational tool, which is used to develop teaching focused on the acquisition of skills through direct feedback from experience.
To carry out its missions, the LEES has several tools at its disposal:
- An experimental room, which is equipped with 45 high-speed interconnected computer stations.
- A series of 50 tablets connected to a remote server, which can be used to conduct experimental research directly in the field.
- Special expertise in the design of experiments conducted on the Internet, either with student populations or on online platforms allowing the recruitment of more representative samples of the population.
- An experimentation platform developed internally (https://www.econplay.fr), which allows the deployment of experimental protocols in the laboratory, on the Internet and in the field.
The experiments conducted within the LEES are always paid, and do not require any prior knowledge. If you want to participate in an experiment and earn some money, you simply have to register on this site:
