Governance and sustainable management of water resources
The project aims to answer the following question: What instruments and governance should be encouraged for the sustainable management of water resources?
This topic calls for freedom of interpretation by the candidate. However, the person will be expected to be able to independently carry out an in-depth study of adaptation strategies in the face of climate change in water resource management. More precisely, an ability to study practices and evaluate policies implemented in countries other than France is expected.
Profile sought:
Doctorate in economic sciences whose research focuses on water resources
Knowledge and skills sought:
● Economics of the environment and natural resources
● Ideally, familiarity with water conservation literature
● Strong skills in applied econometrics
● English proficiency
● Proven ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals
● Autonomy, creativity and independence
