In an article published in “Le Monde” on 8 July 2024, the three economists Anna Creti, Philippe Delacote (INRAE, BETA) and Philippe Quirion set out the principles of a “resilience economy”, in which exposure to risk is reduced, the ability to react to shocks is given priority, and the most vulnerable are protected in essential areas.
